    Meet our new Executive Director

    Alexa Horak was born and raised in Pensacola, Florida.  She relocated to the Spring/Woodlands area in 2013.  She received a B.S. degree from Saint Leo University, Saint Leo, Florida, in Healthcare Administration/Management.  Prior to her current role at World Class Automotive Group, Alexa worked in the healthcare industry for over 20 years.

    Alexa is the Director of Community Relations for Planet Ford Lincoln located on I-45 in Spring, TX.  She is responsible for all administrative aspects of the company's community affairs.  She is a Paul Harris Fellow Rotarian of The Woodlands Rotary Club and serves as the Rotarian Sponsor for The Woodlands High School Interact Club and Lone Star College Montgomery County Rotaract Club.  She also serves as the Chair for the Rotary Youth Leadership Award Camp.  Alexa is a member of The Woodlands and Conroe Chamber of Commerce as well as Montgomery County Association of Business Women.  She is also active in community service and participates in local fundraising events such as the American Heart Association’s Montgomery County Heart & Stroke Walk, Arthritis Foundation’s Jingle Bell Run, and Throwdown Texas Burger & Music Festival benefiting Montgomery County Food Bank.

    As the Executive Director, Alexa is responsible to the Board of Directors for a full range of activities such as coordination of the program of work; maintenance of membership; and liaison with a variety of constituents.  Please join us in welcoming her to the Montgomery County Hispanic Chamber.

    Attached is Montgomery County Food Bank's press release regarding our more dire needs at the Food Bank given the recent flooding crisis in our area.  Hunger is a serious issue in Montgomery County on a daily basis, but when natural disaster occurs, we have even more responsibility to help our neighbors and we need your help to do so to the best of our abilities.

    The Woodlands, Texas (September 152015) – Roger GoertzPresident of Mr. Rooter Plumbing of Greater Houston and Montgomery County, recently received the Mr. Rooter Pioneer and Top Gun Awards from the Mr. Rooter Plumbing corporate office during the company's 2015 International Conference August 30 -September 2, in Austin, Texas. 

     

    The Mr. Rooter Pioneer Award is given to a franchisee that has been with Mr. Rooter system ten years or more and dedicated their time not just to their personal Mr. Rooter success, but to the overall success to Mr. Rooter brand system wide.  Goertz is only the seventh franchisee to receive the Pioneer Award.

     

    The Top Gun award goes to franchise owners who achieve sales goals and reach operation benchmarks. The Top Gun recipients represent the top 10 percent of Mr. Rooter Plumbing owners across North America.
